Dear Friends and Supporters,
Thursday night, the people of Tennessee’s 6th Congressional District cast their ballots to determine the Democratic nominee for Congress. Once all the votes were in and counted, we came up around 200 votes short of victory. To put that into perspective, about one half of one percent separated first and second place.
Ben Leming will tour polling locations throughout the 6th District today meeting with voters before they cast their votes in the Democratic Primary.

Congressional candidate, U.S. Marine, and Iraq War helicopter pilot combat veteran Ben Leming is touring across Middle Tennessee to share his “Battle Plan” to rebuild the nation’s economy. The tour will include stops in Carthage, Cookeville, Gallatin, Lewisburg, Livingston, Murfreesboro, and Springfield.
Congressional candidate, U.S. Marine, and Iraq War helicopter combat veteran Ben Leming won the City Cafe Straw Poll in Murfreesboro.
Leming received 94% of the vote with 47 votes. Opponents Henry Clay Barry and George Erdel received two and one vote each, respectively. Opponents Devora Butler and Brett Carter did not receive any votes.
